Our story:

The Vegan Cosmetics Store is focused on providing products and services for a healthier individual. We understand that the cornerstone of good health begins with eating healthy and using healthy products.

One of the owners of the store, Koi, noted that her grandpa survived several forms of cancers. His last experience was colon and liver cancer. He made the life changing decision to change his diet and focused on a vegan diet. He forewent chemo and radiation and chose a homeopathic path. Today he is now 90 and the doctors have pronounced him cancer free. Much credit to his healthier diet and lifestyle.

The impetus for the launching of the V-care lies in stories like this. The skin is the largest organ of the body and so it is essential that we pay careful attention to what we use, since they are absorbed into the body through the skin. Diet and total body care can greatly benefit from the use of plant based, chemical free products.

V-care has an emphasis on healthy lifestyles and environmental sustainability. “People are still unsure about what veganism actually means and whether vegan cosmetics are a ‘good fit.’ It is our goal to educate the public and re-introduce vegan cosmetics as a healthy, effective and accessible beauty solution;” noted Koi, store owner.

We need people to know that they do not have to be vegan to shop at V-care. We are promoting a healthy lifestyle. This is an individual choice and may look different for each person. However, a small step in the right direction will create incremental changes in our bodies and the environment
